Wow....

Okay so apparently I completely forgot that we established this blog a few years back. So I'm will just continue to add to it(as to not delete the little that already is on it). Since the last time I posted anything on this blog a LOT has changed. Wesley is a lot bigger and we now have a 2nd child that is just over a year old. Oh and I'm no longer in graduate school....I finished just 10 days before the 2nd baby was born....YEAH! And I am officially a SAHM!

The Baby is Here - Wesley Michael Hereford

We had the baby yesterday at 1:45 PM. He was 8 lbs. 3 oz and 20.5 inches long. He was also smart and funny (like a little sarcastic but you can tell he cares....he may get that from me).

We ejoyed several visits and Rona is looking forward o seeing more people as the days pass. We will be in the hospital for a few days so if you wanna come by just call me on my cell and come visit...Room 244.

New Poll Posted Below

In the spirit of the day for the new Baby I posted a real quick poll for everyone to laugh at. Yesterday a certain Mr. Russell came by and started calling himself uncle. He tried to take the baby down the elevator and run away with Wesley. I had to tackle him.

OK some of that is exagerated :) Actually we really appreciate him coming by! Jury;s still out on the Uncle thing. Wesley will have a lot of Uncle's and Aunt's so we may have to come up with a new term.....any thoughts anyone?

About Us

We are Daniel and Rona Hereford. We have been married since Jan. 2004. We live in Metairie, Louisiana, and are expecting our first child any day now.



Daniel is an IT Manager at a local bank.

Rona is a graduate student at the University of New Orleans, a stay-at-home mom-to-be, and the one who keeps the house going.
